Tirthan Valley Kullu Manali – An Abode of Adventure and Beauty

The first destination in our list was the Tirthan Valley Kullu Manali which is considered to be in the list of the most unique tourist spots in the world. The valley derives its name from the famous Tirthan River which has its origins inside the Himalayan glaciers. The river holds credit for having crystal clear cold glacier water which acts as a great breeding ground for trout fishes. It is due to these reasons that the river is considered to be a treat for anglers.

Even my husband was passionate about fishing and hired the necessary equipment for catching fish. It is considered to be one of the ideal off beat places in this part of the world. The view of the high rise lands nestling in the middle of clouds will surely stay etched in my minds.

It holds reputation for being a splendidly beautiful place with the pucca roads running through dense forests along tiny hamlets and lush green fields. The hamlets have some very peculiar names such as Ghushaini, Nagini, Mungla, Chalogi, etc.

We could spot many paths which were away from the main road and led to the snow fed rivers. The sight of the rivers gushing down over the rocky terrains to run into pools which spread over flat lands.

The locals were extremely friendly and treated us with fresh herbs, vegetables, seasonal fruits, and salads from their bio gardens. Nature has created it in such a manner that it is the apt place for different types of holiday makers including the likes of campers, trekkers, fishermen, etc.
The Tirthan Valley Kullu Manali is actually located along the River Tirthan which enables you to access the Great Himalayn National Park. We could spot around four hotels in the valley which take care of those who want to experience its beauty while staying inside the same.

The park is considered to house the Western Tragopan which is now an endangered species. Some other peculiar attractions of the park include Himalayan Griffon Vultures, Golden Eagles, Lammergeiers, Monal Pheasant, etc. We could also spot many people who were involved in different types of adventurous activities.
